DREADMOOR VR support is not officially confirmed here. The verified platform baseline is a Windows PC game on Steam. A first-person camera does not establish native headset support, tracked controllers or a VR interaction mode.
What the first-person description means
DREADMOOR presents fishing, exploration and boat work from a first-person viewpoint. That describes the ordinary game perspective. It does not, by itself, tell you whether the image is rendered for a headset or whether movement and equipment use support tracked hands.

This panel shows the current store categories; it is not confirmation of headset support.
Steam Deck playability is also a separate subject. A handheld PC compatibility statement is not an announcement of VR support.
Headset and mod claims remain unverified
No verified headset list, tracked-controller layout, VR comfort option, third-party injection profile or VR performance benchmark is established here. Do not assume an engine-related tool will provide a working motion-control implementation just because the game uses a first-person view.
That lack of confirmation does not establish that a future VR mode is impossible or cancelled. It means there is no supported VR configuration to recommend at this point.
Decide on confirmed compatibility
If headset play is essential to your purchase, wait for a clear statement covering the actual game and the headset or control method you intend to use. Keep an announcement of native support separate from an individual experiment with a third-party modification.
As of November 2, 2026, the main game is still scheduled for Early Access on November 9. Neither that planned release nor the existence of a separate demo supplies the missing VR confirmation.
