The DREADMOOR demo's technology metadata includes an NVIDIA DLSS SDK detection. That is not enough to confirm a specific DLSS version, a working in-game setting, frame generation or a particular performance gain.
No verified menu path or exact settings procedure is available to provide here. Do not replace that missing information with instructions copied from another game.
What the detected component means
A technology entry identifies a component associated with the demo's indexed files. It provides a reason to investigate DLSS support, but it is not a player-facing compatibility test.
The important distinctions are:
| Question | Current boundary |
|---|---|
| Is a DLSS SDK detected in the demo record | Yes |
| Which exact DLSS version is exposed | Not verified |
| Where is the in-game toggle | Not verified |
| Is frame generation supported | Not verified |
| What frame-rate improvement should you expect | No verified measurement |
A video title naming a graphics mode does not resolve these points by itself. A benchmark claim needs the actual settings, build and hardware context, rather than a title or a cinematic clip.

This is component metadata, not an in-game settings screen or a verified DLSS mode.
Check the actual installed application's options
Keep the application identity attached to any settings claim. DREADMOOR Demo is separate from the main game and from the historical Playtest. A menu captured in one version is not automatically the menu of every later release.
If your installed build offers an upscaling option, read the label and available choices in that build. If it does not show the expected option, the metadata entry alone is not a reason to force an unsupported change.
There is no verified basis here for replacing DLL files, adding third-party injectors or changing hidden configuration values. Such procedures would need their own compatibility checks and would not establish native support simply because the image changed.
Keep hardware requirements separate from feature support
The main game's current minimum graphics requirement is an Nvidia GTX 1060 with 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 with 8 GB. The recommended graphics hardware is an RTX 4060 or Radeon RX 7600, with DirectX 12 specified for both requirement levels.
Those requirements do not name a required DLSS mode or promise a target frame rate. A recommended RTX card is not, on its own, confirmation of every feature associated with that card.
The October demo announcement described optimization work, but it did not provide a verified DLSS performance table. Do not turn that general improvement statement into a claimed percentage gain.
What to look for in a useful settings report
A report becomes more useful when it identifies the demo or main game, its version, the GPU, the display resolution and the exact option being changed. A comparison should also distinguish image quality from frame rate rather than treating any sharper or smoother clip as proof of a particular technology.
Until a reproducible settings capture or explicit support statement resolves the details, the supported answer is limited to the detected SDK component. Exact version, enabled modes and expected gains remain separate questions.
